“ Love Fresh Tofu, easy quick place to grab food or just dine in for a quick bite. The bun rieu was very tasty and had lots of flavor to it., and the braised duck soup cooked with herbs and spices which was rich in flavor. ”
“ Also listed as Uncle Phans Great food. They stay busy but get you in and out. We went in after lunch, before dinner so some items were out but they were steady bring up new food options.Their Fried Chinese Doughnuts are very tasty! Thanks! ”
“ The only place I could find banh tieu! They have banh cam, banh day, and a bunch of other fried and pre made foods. Service is fast, they have one register but two people taking your order and payment. 14 for 2 banh tieu, 2 banh cam, 1 banh day and 1 goi cuon ”
“ We had an eggroll break between 2 of our films this year at Austin Asian American Film Festival and well, of course it was a smash! Thanks to Fresh TofuUncle Phans tofu for working with on our order of 200 eggrolls 12 pork, 12 veggie. It did take a Vietnamese speaker a couple of calls to place the order with them since theyre a small staff and often busy, but once set, we sent someone to pickup and pay. The eggrolls were very fresh, hot and stayed that way for a while until they all made it into our audience members bellies! ”
“ This is my cantine when I need authentic confort vietnamese food. She also has food to go if you are looking for a quick solution for dinner egg rolls, banh gio, canh ga kho... She makes homemade Tofu, homemade soy milk and even has sugar cane juice. For tet, this is the place to get your must have food items. This place is a gem, I hope they never close! ”
“ Lots of fresh bakery items besides seasoned tofu pieces. They also have noodle soup dishes like bun rieu, bun mam, bun moc on the menu. Will have to return here to try their sit down menu someday. ”
“ First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! We got banh beo from their premade foods section to go, which is hard to find in Austin. While it wasnt the best banh beo Ive ever had, it was pretty tasty and Ill take what I can get! Will definitely be back in the future to try some of their other dishes particularly looking forward to their banh cuon. ”
“ This is my go to place whenever I want to buy freshly made tofu rather it be the tofu blocks or the fried tofu. When you eat the fried tofu you can taste the soy bean flavor. When I buy store bought tofu, it never taste the same. They also sell soy bean milk by the half gallons. Asian soy bean milk is different than the soy milk you get from American grocery stores. It is not as thick in consistency, not as sweet, and you and more soy bean taste. They sell soy bean milk in sweetened or unsweetened. I always get the tofu soup or tau foo fah. They leave the ginger syrup on the side so you can adjust the sweetness as you please. The tau foo fah is so soft and silky. Thumbs up the best I have had in Austin. They also have many Vietnamese dishes too such as banh cuon. Definitely a local mom and pop place of Austin. ”
